1. Which class or classes do you teach?

Year 8, 9, 11, 12 Maths and 12 Chemistry.

2. How long have you been working at Northpine?

This is my 19th year.

3. Where are you originally from?

Melbourne.

4. What are your favourite hobbies?

Cross-country skiing, bushwalking, kayaking, cycling and photography.

5. If you could meet any historical figure, living or dead, who would you choose and why?

Robert Scott who walked to the South Pole on his ill-fated expedition in 1912.

6. What’s one great book or movie you’ve read or seen recently?

Hacksaw Ridge.

7. Where is the most beautiful place you have ever been?

Tasmanian alpine areas.

8. What is the best advice that you can give to your students?

Value your education. You have so much opportunity at Northpine Christian College, so put in your best effort. What you are on the inside is the most important and this expressed in how you treat your family, friends and the community. Character is more important than even academic results.
