Year 3
Since beginning of 2016.
I loved minding my younger cousins when I was a teenager and from that time I knew that I would love to work with children as an adult.
Ayr, North Queensland
That I love the outdoors, particularly the beach.
I would probably want to check out the Bible times when Christ was on the earth.
Recently I read The Happiest Refugee by Ahn Do. Even though he has had a very difficult life he remains positive, is very funny and has made a success of his life.
There have been a few people who have inspired me however the person who stands out at this time is a colleague and friend from a prior workplace Carolyn Rickett. Carolyn is an accomplished educator who is a Senior Lecturer in Communications and also Assistant Dean of Research for the Faculty of Arts, Nursing and Theology at Avondale College. What stands out about Carolyn is that she treats everyone with equality and respect no matter how important their position in the workplace is. She values the people she comes in contact with and to me that is a beautiful attribute in a world where people tread on each other for position and popularity. In that sense Carolyn reflects Christ’s love for people.
Whitehaven Beach, Whitsundays. White sand, crystal clear water. Beauty as far as the eye can see.
Doing your best means never stop trying.

Years 8, 9, 10, 12 English and Year 8 History
This is my 6th year at Northpine.
My mum was an Early Childhood teacher and my dad is still a secondary English teacher so I guess I was born into it.
The south side of Brisbane.
The degree I first started at university was a Bachelor of Psychology. I only lasted five weeks! It was definitely not for me.
I’m pretty happy in the present and love having my 1 year old daughter as part of my life so I think I’d stay where I am right now.
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr is a compelling read.
I would have to say my dad is one of my biggest inspirations. He is one of those people who just seems to know everything; he is one of the wisest people I know. He’s my Atticus Finch!
Lake Pukaki looking across to Mount Cook, South Island of New Zealand.
Try to start each day with a positive attitude.
