On Thursday 2 November, the Year 10 students visited QUT Caboolture campus to have their “Explore University Day”. The day was filled with presentations on what uni life would be like, its operations, facilities, courses, costs and other important detail. Students were also given a tour of the campus and taken into a number of faculties e.g. Business, Law, Education, Science and Creative Industries where they were presented with information on courses in those areas and given advice on how to be successful in school to prepare for tertiary study. Students were put through many interactive activities to stimulate their thinking in each faculty area and an enjoyable day was had by all.
