Year 12 Camp to 1770

Monday, 20/11/2017 Posted by: Marketing

What a great camp experience the Year 12 Class of 2017 had at 1770. The staff at Captain Cook Holiday Village were once again very hospitable and treated us like kings whilst staying there. On day one, the students were treated to a boat ride to Lady Musgrave Island which proved to be a highlight, seeing heaps of fish, coral, turtles and snorkelling on the barrier reef. Day two had the students travelling on an amphibious vehicle around the headlands with some sand boarding action. Day three allowed the students to have a relaxing day at Agnes Water Beach and finished with a heated competition at the local bowls club. The students took many photos and created some lasting memories with each other. A big thank you needs to go to Mr Colquhoun, Mr Wilson, Mr Wareham, Mrs Sykes and Ms Arnold for facilitating the camp and engaging with the students through the many activities on camp. If you ever need a family holiday then please check out the Captain Cook Holiday Village and the sights and sounds of 1770. A small town to put on your bucket list.
