This Friday, 21 August is bring a rubbish free lunch to school day.
Rubbish free lunches not only benefit our environment by reducing waste they also promote healthy eating.
This is a STORMForce initiative.
This term we are asking students to bring in ‘Spare Change on Fridays’ to support our STORM Co teams as they serve in 2021. This money will go towards future local and overseas projects. There is a money tin in each classroom where students can place their spare change. This event will finish at the end of the term, so keep sending in your spare change.
STORMCo. is a youth initiative of the South Pacific Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its mission is to send teams of trained young people to work for, learn from, and encourage individual communities; sharing God’s love by building bridges to all peoples through an adventure in service to others. STORMForce is a primary school service program run by Northpine Christian College. It introduces young children to service and helps to prepare them for more intensive service opportunities provided through STORMCo in secondary school. Students learn to serve others with no expectations and through doing so, share a little of God’s love with the community.
