National Day Against Bullying 2018

Friday, 16/03/2018 Posted by: Marketing

On Friday 16 March 2018, Northpine Christian College joined thousands of other Australian schools celebrating the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence.

Students and teachers dressed up in something orange to show their support against bullying and violence.

Building up to this, Primary teachers have taken time every week focusing on values that promote good healthy relationships.  These values include topics such as friendliness, respect, self-control and patience.

During Infant and Junior Parade students also had the opportunity to listen to a presentation about the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence and what they should do if they see someone being bullied. This included short video clips covering this very important topic.

The Middle and Senior School had students recommitting their support against bullying and violence by signing a pledge as part of a Bully Free NCC campaign. Students also received orange bands demonstrating their support.

We all know there is no place for bullying and we would love to have a bully free school. We can all work together in creating a school community that is free from bullies. Together we can make Northpine Christian College a happier place.
