On Friday 1 March, Northpine’s outside hours care provider, Northpine OSHClub, was presented with the “Regional Service Excellence Award” for Brisbane North from the Junior Adventures Group of companies which they are a part of. They were nominated by Deb Tulloch, Regional Operations Manager.

State Operations Manager, Bruce Hudson, presented the award to Northpine OSHClub’s Coordinator, Narelle Spiteri. Mr Hudson said that the reason why Narelle and the team were chosen to receive the service excellence award is because of the “day to day interaction with the families, the day to day engagement with the school community. It’s the love that goes into what the team does. I just want to say thank you to Narelle and the team. It makes it a pleasure working in this industry when you see the care and the passion that goes into running a service like this. It just brings an enormous sense of pride.”

Narelle and the OSHClub team prepared an afternoon tea for the award presenters, as well as Graham Baird, Shane Blake and Jenelle Edser, Northpine’s Principal, Primary Deputy Principal and Business Manager. Mr Baird was happy with how OSHClub has been running since they partnered with the school in 2018, saying that he was, “very pleased with the transition, and valued the intention and effort that Narelle and her team put into supporting the Northpine culture in their day to day operations.”
