Our College has organised presentations with Dolly’s Dream Foundation. “Dolly’s Dream was created by Kate and Tick Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, after ongoing bullying.” These presentations are a part of our ongoing support for our young people and our anti-bullying stance. Presentations have been organised to run on Tuesday 15th of August for Years 5 through 12 culminating with a parent seminar in the evening. We would encourage all parents to attend the parent session on Tuesday night from 7pm. The Parent/caregiver workshop will “develop an understanding of the negative consequences of bullying. Know where and how to report inappropriate content, and how best to support young people who are experiencing harm. Parents/caregivers will be equipped with the latest research regarding online behaviours.” If you require more information regarding these presentations, please view the link provided or contact your relevant Student Welfare Coordinator.
