Northpine’s own Year 2 student, Lucas Garland, fought his way to the top taking home Gold at the Brendale Taekwondo State Championships in August.  Not a stranger to standing on the top of the podium, Lucas has taken home multiple gold and silver medals after only starting his Taekwondo training journey in 2022. Following his most recent win, Lucas has qualified in his age and weight for Nationals which will be held in Perth this month.

What an incredible achievement from Lucas – we couldn’t be more proud!  We look forward to hearing of his further success following Nationals.
